Hey quick request: would you consider doing an article explaining treasury auctions?
I've been looking at some of the recent bond auctions and it looks like demand is waning a bit: lower bid to cover, and the high yield exceeding the when issued.
But wait, if these bonds are auctioned at a discount to par, why is the bid to cover so high? BTC > 2 means there's twice as much demand as supply, right? Is that because primary dealers scooping up the remaining supply put a floor under the BTC?
